Engineering Scholars Program
The FAU College of Engineering and Computer Science offers a three-credit, dual-enrollment program in engineering and computer science for high achieving high school students in Broward and Palm Beach counties. Students take one of the five courses listed below over a three-week period in the summer (June 13 thru July 1). Upon successful completion of the program, students will receive three semester hours of college credit.
ESP engages students in challenging educational activities not available in high school and provides them opportunities to explore engineering and computer science as possible career choices. Instruction is provided by top FAU engineering faculty. Team projects are emphasized and completed utilizing state-of-the-art laboratories in the FAU College of Engineering and Computer Science buildings. Current FAU upper-division and graduate engineering and computer science students serve as mentors and assist ESP students with the transition to college-level work.
