Engineering Scholars Program

About ESP

The FAU College of Engineering and Computer Science is offering a three-credit, dual-enrollment course in engineering and computer science for high achieving high school students in Broward and Palm Beach counties. Students take the course listed below over a three-week period in the summer (June 8 thru June 26). Upon successful completion of the program, students will receive three semester hours of college credit.

Given the current situation with Covid-19, the university has mandated that all summer 2020 courses be taught online. After careful consideration, we have determined that the Engineering Scholars Program course, CIS 2930: Innovations in Biomedical Engineering Applications course, would not be an effective learning experience for students when taught in a 100 percent online format. As such, we will not be able to offer this course or the Engineering Scholars Program this summer.

Please note that qualifying high school students may take other dual enrollment classes online this summer. Please contact 561.297.2009 or for more information.
