College of Engineering and Computer Science Open House
The Division of Engineering Student Services and Advising (DESSA) hosts a College Open House during the fall term each year. This event provides students with information about the programs that the College has to offer and showcases exciting student projects, such as the human-powered submarine and the formula Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) race car. Attendees have an opportunity to learn more about the services that DESSA offers – including free tutoring and scholarship and internship opportunities – and meet with advisors from each of the departments within the College. If you are interested in the FAU engineering or computer science programs please contact the DESSA office at 561.297.2780
or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
for more information.
FAU is a proud participant of National Engineers Week. Every February the College of Engineering and Computer Science sponsors various student and community outreach activities in an effort to increase awareness about the profession of engineering and to honor the achievements of engineers. Several fun activities are hosted to commemorate the special occasion. Some of the past activities included a kick-off brunch where students received five-star treatment as professors served them fine cuisine, a themed style celebration, with games, an engineering student project showcase and a student engineering club marketplace.
If you would like more information about the Open House or you would like to attend, participate in, or donate to the Engineers Week event please contact the DESSA office at email@example.com
